What am I meant to find here?
I’m drawn through the valley by a sense of importance, but I’m unsure of what I’m searching for.
It’s mid-morning, and the star above warms the earth under my feet.
Twisted trees with dry, brittle bark guard the stone path. I place my hand on one, and again tap into hidden frequencies.
A somber vibration resonates through my arm and spreads to the core of my spirit.
These trees aren’t nearly as old as the temple, but their ancestors are whispering to them beneath layers of sediment.
Teaching them.
Reminding them of what I am.
